Steward

A steward is a person who manages, administers, or oversees something on behalf of another person, an organization, or a community. The term can refer to a property manager, an attendant on a plane or ship, or an elected union representative.

This Word of the Week refers to the Biblical reference. Being a “good steward” of what you have been blessed to oversee, IE: home, children, life, etc.

Colossians 1:16, Job 41:11, Deuteronomy 10:14 are among many additional places in the Bible that declare that everything belongs to the Lord.

Being a good steward brings blessing because it shows reverence and respect to the One who gives.

It does not give freedom to control everything. There is a difference.
