Grace

Exploring the English language is enlightening, there are so many meanings for a single word. I love the word “grace” for many reasons; clumsy acts resulting in someone being dubbed “Grace,” beauty in action as a visual grace and my heart is happy when I think of my granddaughter whose fitting name exemplifies the definition examples of elegance, poise and charm.

Grace defined as: “the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings” is the most meaningful and fully explained in the WORD, maybe you’ve heard of it?

Do you understand that grace?

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Perhaps the Bible is unfamiliar to you, but you’d love to know this “free grace”. Here is a bit of Truth; it really is a simple act to receive this grace. If the Bible is too overwhelming right now, I can tell you for certain that it will become increasingly clear, exciting, and relevant after you accept this gift. It just takes knowledge of who Jesus is, and the faith in what He proclaims to be, everything else flows from that.

Stumbling through life kicking table legs and falling down stairs may earn you the nickname of Grace. The only way to know TRUE grace, that life giving, sustaining, joy filling, GRACE is to know Jesus and believe what He did for you on the cross. Clinging to that Truth every day; every good, bad, hard, sick, painful, joy filled day sustains me. It is only by that grace that I can continue fighting to live in this world, while waiting on the one promised!

John 3: 16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”
