Truth

We’ve lost the definition of the word TRUST.

The world has become complacent in what trust, trusted, trustworthy, means so it’s no wonder things feel chaotic and relationships are stressed. These days the weather is even questionable!

Life struggles have people giving up hope. False information takes away solidarity in communication, technology drives comparison through visual alteration and it’s difficult to know what is real and what is Maybelline.

Why then, should I expect anyone to believe what I claim to be trustworthy?

I’ve lied. There are situations in my past that weren’t as they seemed. Failures and denials in relationships have tainted believability in what I say and do…and promise.

So, don’t trust me.

Please, DO NOT trust me.

Find out the Truth for yourself.

Research, dig, seek for and test- THE Truth.

The truth of God’s written Word.

I don’t have all the answers, but I have enough faith to trust the One who does (Psalm 139). I am not perfect, but I trust the One who is (Psalm 18:30).

Every day His promises are new and one that I count on is that He is with me (Lamentation 3:22-23). I trust Him in all things; difficult, trying, painful and impossible (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In Him I have purpose, forgiveness, hope, joy and so much love (Matthew 11:28-30).

Through salvation and the gift of His Spirit I have everything I need to change who I was into who He desires me to be (Romans 5:5). And that truth sets me free (John 8:32).

I believe. And I trust in that TRUTH.
